What we can and cannot help with
We are an independent editorial site, not a store, a manufacturer, a seed supplier or a camera feeder brand. We cannot sell you anything, process an order, cancel a camera subscription, replace a cracked reservoir or handle a warranty claim. For those, contact the retailer or the manufacturer directly, since they hold the order and the warranty.
We also cannot identify a bird from a description, diagnose a sick bird or tell you what to do with one you have found. That is not caution for its own sake: the answer depends on the species, on what is going around in your area that month, and on the rules your state applies, and none of that fits in an inbox. Cornell Lab and All About Birds cover identification properly, and a licensed wildlife rehabilitator or your state wildlife agency is the right contact for a sick or injured bird. During an outbreak they are also the ones who need to know.
If you think something we published is wrong or out of date, please tell us and include the page. Corrections are the most useful email we get.
